Terms of service

These terms govern use of Nordia. By creating an account or connecting an Etsy shop you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Nordia provides listing, inventory, order and fulfilment tooling for sellers on Etsy and other marketplaces. Features may change; we give notice before removing anything you depend on.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done under your account.
- You must give us accurate contact details and keep them current.
3. Connecting an Etsy shop
- You may connect only shops you own or are authorised to manage.
- Connecting grants Nordia permission to act on your behalf within the scopes you approved on Etsy's consent screen.
- You may disconnect at any time in Nordia or by revoking access from your Etsy account.
- Your use of Etsy remains governed by Etsy's own terms, seller policy and API terms of use. Nothing here overrides them, and where they conflict with these terms, Etsy's terms win for anything touching Etsy.
4. What you may not do
- Use Nordia to create listings that infringe trademarks or copyright, or that break Etsy's prohibited items policy.
- Use Nordia to send buyers unsolicited marketing, or any message that is not about an order they placed.
- Attempt to reach shops you have not been authorised to manage.
- Reverse engineer the service, resell access to it, or use it to build a competing product.
- Circumvent rate limits, our own or Etsy's, or use the service in a way that degrades it for others.
- Scrape marketplace data through Nordia for resale.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, with notice where we safely can and immediately where we cannot.
5. Your content
Your product data, images and copy remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service for you — to store your content, transmit it to Etsy and your other connected channels, and display it back to you. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.
6. Fees
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or where we have clearly failed to deliver the service.
- We give 30 days' notice before a price change affecting your plan.
What the fee covers: our subscription is charged for the parts of Nordia that are ours — the master product record, multi-channel synchronisation, the fulfilment and print-partner workflow, label generation, and support. We do not charge for access to Etsy itself, or for anything Etsy already gives its sellers free of charge. Connecting an Etsy shop, and the Etsy-facing calls that connection makes, are not a paid tier and are not sold separately.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service. Etsy's API may be slow, rate limited or unavailable, and scheduled maintenance happens. We are not liable for marketplace outages outside our control, though we will tell you what we know.
8. No affiliation with Etsy
Nordia is an independent application built on the public Etsy Open API. Etsy, Inc. does not sponsor, endorse or certify it. “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc., used here only to describe compatibility.
9. Warranties
The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will meet every requirement, that automated edits will always produce the result you intended, or that it will be error free. You are responsible for reviewing what you publish to your shop.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost data or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Indemnity
You will cover us against claims arising from content you publish through Nordia, from your breach of these terms, or from your breach of Etsy's policies.
12. Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time. We may end it with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach. On termination we stop all API calls for your shops and delete your data as set out in the privacy policy. You can export your data before closing.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially we email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Nordia after that means you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nordia Tools is registered, and disputes are heard in its courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
